Sister Grace Uju Ekwesianya was born on 23rd July,1963,to the family of late Pastor Peter Godwin Orafu and late Mrs Rebecca Orafu in Nimo, South-eastern Nigeria.
Sister Grace, as she was fondly called, was a dedicated member ofthe Church of God (7th Day) world headquarters Jerusalem, Israel. Both herfather and husband were pastors in the church. Her supportto the pastoral work of her husband and to the church atlarge can never be overemphasized. She was a role model as well as a pillarto both women and children within the local church and beyond.
She had special interestin the children’s ministry and worked tirelessly in instilling Bible-based truth, stories and principles in these impressionable minds. As the leader ofthe women’s association ofthe church, she was key in positioning the womenfolk in the fear of God and supportfortheir various families.Herlove for education made her ensure allthe women in the local church community, no matter how poor, maintained their children in school.Her great sacrifice and dedication remain a source of motivation to numerous church members.
